Filfla Island, Malta - Perspectives

I visited Malta’s gorgeous Southwest coast several times, home of the renowned Dingli Cliffs, Mnajdra Temple, and the Blue Grotto. Always present, calling to me in the background - Filfa Island, the smallest in the Malta Archipelago (with an area of 9 acres).

Nearing sunset close to the Dingli Cliffs.

As seen from Gar Lapsi.

.This is a beautiful swimming hole, complete with cave and shallow turquoise water.

Somewhere near Mnajdra Temple.

Remarkably, same location, ½ hour later! This is only slightly edited - the colors were truly this spectacular.

And then something different, a few minutes later….

View from above the Blue Grotto.

What is that mysterious stone building in the background?

Gorgeous sky and colors near sunset - Dingli Cliffs.

Also from Gar Lapsi - different day, different time.

Late afternoon…close to the Blue Grotto.

Ditto.
